Autumn Craft at home
Posted by Johport on
I hope all of you are enjoying this nice autumn weather.
I love to go outside with my kids especially this season. Even just for a short walk, there is so much to see.
I think the colors are just spectacular. I love seasons.
Today, I would like to share an easy autumn craft that can be completed at home with you.
All you need is: a piece of large drawing paper, glue, paint & a paint brush!
Oh but you do need to go outside and pick up some leaves or flowers or acorns.
You know, we are a nature loving company! Let's explore nature with children.
This is what we did in Spring.
One spring day, we walked around our backyard and picked up whatever we found. Then we used a piece of large drawing paper to create "Spring" together using glue, paint and a paint brush.
There are no rules. Start from the sky or ground. Just try to picture the scenery that you all see while walking around outside.
My 4 year old and 2 year old were pretty excited about this project and probably spent more than 30mins to create it. Toddlers don't have a long attention span (right?) so if they can focus more than 15mins, it's a winner!
It is a fun way to learn about how the seasons change. You can talk about leaf colors, what you can find on the ground, and even the sounds they make.
My children even tried to picture the wind because it was a windy day!
I'm planning to create our Autumn version soon. So please join us!
